Director,Strategic Marketing- BOTOX® Cosmetic

YOU ARE more than just a title, YOU ARE…
  • An Innovative Executor. Youwill oversee the full life-cycle US pipeline development and marketing strategyfor BOTOX® Cosmetic by partnering with DownstreamProfessional Marketing team and Research and development teams to bridgeresearch, early stage and late stage product development to market execution.
  • Work to maximize values. Partner closely with the BOTOX® ChiefScientific Officer, clinical development,medical teams and regions, to develop lifecycle indications to maximize assetvalue.
  • Innovate strategies. Develop a comprehensive commercialization strategy, which includespricing strategy, naming, positioning and go to market strategy
  • Work together.Collaborate across the entire research and development spectrum to aligncustomer, consumer and commercial priorities, to translate to new productdevelopment concepts that are unique, distinct and differentiated
  • Look for new opportunities. Collect, measure, and translate consumer and userunmet needs into new product development opportunities.
  • Consistentproduct development. Develop commercial rationale to activate newproduct concepts or validate existing new product development concepts.
  • Leadvarious initiatives. Lead diligence efforts in unlocking hiddengrowth opportunities; lead competitive defense planning against marketentrants. Maintainupdated perspective on evolving marketplace, including new competitive entrants(understand and mitigate risks associated with competitive events), andregional differences.
  • Collaborate effectively. Collaboratewith Medical Affairs, External Scientific Communications and other MedicalAffairs organizations, to develop and execute a communication strategy thatsupports the development, education and successful launch of new products.

  • Qualifications
  • BS/BA orequivalent in Business, preferably in marketing or a related discipline, MBApreferred
  • Minimum of sevenyears+ Marketing experience in biopharmaceuticals or medical devices, withpreference in both upstream and downstream capacity
  • Strong analyticsexperience
  • Brand managementexperience preferred
  • Experience inMedical Aesthetics preferred
  • Experiencelaunching biopharmaceuticals preferred
  • Proven experiencein bringing products to market that meet and exceed launch or financial targets
  • Presentationskills across a variety of organization levels and disciplines, includingsenior executives
  • Strongcollaboration/relationship-building skills and ability to engage acrossmultiple functions Agile
  • Business ownershipmindset, the will to win and a self-starter
  • Excellentanalytical skills (e.g., market and competitive dynamics andbusiness performance), including development of new product forecastmodels, demand plan models and other forecast models that may be required
  • Experiencelaunching first in class products, transformative products, products thataddress novel disease states or underserved disease states
  • Superbcommunication skills required to gain internal support for strategic andtactical initiatives, and the ability to gain group consensus in a teamenvironment that values industry knowledge, analytics and data-based decisions.
  • Comfort in arapidly changing environment with competing and shifting priorities
  • Ability to travelup to 40%. Overnight travel may berequired.
