Key Responsibilities: SALES & BRAND AWARENESS Meet and exceed sales goals within assigned territory. Build brand awareness and successfully sell various beauty brands in store. Drive sales and increase brand awareness through link selling, training, artistry demonstration and events. Assist customers to determine needs while suggesting products within your brand to fulfill those needs. Generate in-store events for brands and increase brand awareness and sales. Responsible for ensuring brand standards and objectives are met via regular communication with Sales, Accounts & Education teams. RELATIONSHIPS Responsible for developing and leveraging positive retailer relationships to maximize store level support related to all areas of driving business. Build and maintain successful in-store relationships with retailer employees and management. Stay active on our community website called Honey that helps inform on any key brand and company news. Stay active on social media and post about your brand(s) and events in store. Consistently partner and communicate with Sales, Account & Education Teams to effectively grow and develop overall business. TRAINING Educate and train retailer teams on your beauty brand(s), artistry skills, product knowledge and selling techniques to elevate brand awareness and achievement of sales goals so that they can continue to generate sales for the brand when you are not present in store. Support Sales, Accounts & Education Teams during new store opening trainings as well as specialized retailer trainings as needed. STOCK/MERCHANDISING Ensure product on gondola and secondary locations is merchandised and fully stocked according to brand/retailer merchandising guidelines. (Includes but is not limited to: maintaining gondola cleanliness and stock, remerchandising, replacing testers and communicating/ assisting with reordering of gondola components as/if needed.) Communicate needs of store and brand to the corporate team (out of stock items, requests for store generated events, etc). Set the example as a leader in all aspects of business, artistry, sales, image and Beauty Barrage professional standards.
Minimum Qualification Requirements: Minimum of 3 years experience working as a sales & makeup artist in a retail environment. A proven track record of achieving personal and territory sales goals. Strong artistry, selling, customer service, communication and organizational skills. Experience working successful cosmetic events. Excellent time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner. Ability to communicate effectively with both the corporate team, management and employees in store. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the company/brand's needs and be flexible to change to reflect the needs of the business including weekends, evenings and holidays. Able to stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to travel within market. Willingness to drive a minimum of 20-30 miles. Must have a reliable form of transportation. Possess a personal phone to be utilized for business purposes. Technology skills ability to use a smart phone and keep open lines of communication via email, video calls, phone calls, text messages etc.
