The Business Development Leader will have a broad scope of responsibilities that include the following: Develop innovative strategies to drive growth and lead the evaluation and analysis of the opportunities Develop and facilitate process for identifying innovative opportunities to capture market opportunity and working them through to success. Exceed customer expectations and create preferred, strategic partnerships with customers; Collaborate across Change Healthcare to achieve broad support for strategic partnerships. Develop and foster long term strategy and execution plan focused on various channels within the Change Healthcare portfolio; Strengthen portfolio to achieve top 10% performance in the market
This leader will take a stratified approved toward Business Development activities, to include the following: Technology/R&D initiatives this consists of both large-scale relationships with Big Tech companies and technology partnerships that may be impactful for multiple BUs at CHC (e.g., AI/ML/Blockchain) Enterprise go-to-market initiatives existing business partner strategic alliances (EMRs), new business partner strategic alliances (non-EMRs) and new customer strategic alliances. MINIMUM JOB Qualifications
Education / Training: Bachelors Degree Masters Degree in Business Preferred
Business Experience: Minimum of eight years healthcare experience, preferably from a top-tier management consulting firm, healthcare information technology company, corporate strategy, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnership.
Specialized Knowledge / Skills: A broad understanding of the healthcare sector, especially in the current trends and the future direction of this rapidly changing industry Results orientation Demonstrated thought leadership developing strategic, high-value and enduring customer relationships; Proven experience developing and presenting robust business cases and cost benefit analysis of opportunities; Proven track record in the deal making, and negotiations process; Experience working in a matrixed, fast-paced environment, leading cross-functional teams; Is open and receptive to appropriate change; possesses the ability to manage and shift priorities as required, and to incorporate new approaches in support of changing organizational needs. Ability to collaborate and communicate at all levels of the organization, through excellent verbal and written communications; The ability to respond to the changing needs of the customer while maintaining a high standard of quality and adhering to company policies, standards and practices and processes; This executive will be able to clearly and concisely convey key findings of complex analysis, explain rationale for new strategic initiatives, and serve as an effective thought partner with the senior team across a broad range of issues.
