Job description

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute quarterly or annual partner marketing plans
  • Manage budgets and expenses including forecasting.
  • Support new product launch efforts in the channel including collateral, communication
  • strategy, training tools and related activities.
  • Lead channel marketing efforts associated with any business reviews at key Managed and/or
  • Non-managed partner accounts. Monitor program and campaign efforts and conduct pre and post-program analysis to drive
  • improvement.
  • Align channel marketing communications strategies with ESET brand strategies.
  • Work closely with ESET end user demand generation marketing to ensure a balanced
  • marketing effort and leverage of resources and assets.
  • Track competitive channel marketing programs, market and channel trends and adjust
  • channel strategies accordingly.
  • Analyze and report progress against campaign goals and report on ROI.
  • Work closely with Program Marketing to support ongoing priorities, including product
  • presentations, trade shows, research and competitive intelligence. Monitor, analyze and report on competitive activities within channel including price,
  • promotion, new products and programs.
  • Analyze sales reports and market feedback from internal and external sources to identify key issues, trends, opportunities and market share growth/decline for use in marketing and sales planning purposes. * Manage 3rd party vendors and build processes that support successful execution of channel marketing programs and campaigns. Qualifications:
  • Experience:

  • 7- 10 years in a marketing management role
  • Minimum of 5 or more years in a pure channel marketing position in a B-to-B software hardware organization.
  • Education:

  • BA/BS Marketing preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Security technology experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to define VAR channel strategy, and lead implementation of tactics.
  • Proven ability to create innovative and comprehensive programs and campaigns for the reseller channel.
  • Able to demonstrate consistent ability to meet objectives on time and within budget
  • Proven capacity to excel in a fast-paced, multifaceted, team environment 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and problem solving abilities 
  • Capacity to think “outside the box” and motivate others to take well-reasoned risks
  • Able to work well independently and in a team environment, and interact with individuals at all levels in the organization
  • Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills; detail-oriented. Highly motivated and self-starter.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally up to 50%.
