Position Summary

Mediabrands' is seeking an analyst to support its Compensation & HR Analytics function within human resources. The ideal candidate will have an interest in compensation and analysis.

Essential Functions

* Leverage data to provide insights on compensation and the workforce and make recommendations
* Generate reporting and dashboards used by the HR team
* Develop deep analysis and identify trends of our employees and industry
* Generate monthly and annual headcount/turnover reports for HR team and Senior Management
* Build and maintain reporting automation tools to create efficiencies to help drive business strategies
* Must remain current on technological advancements in order to make relevant recommendations
* Manage the systems and detailed records of plans/programs
* Assist with preparation and coordination of materials for meetings
* Assist with gathering employee data required for salary survey submissions
* Prepare ad hoc compensation reporting and analysis



* Bachelor's degree

Work Experience:

* 1-3 years of related work experience


* Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft Query
* Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
* Proficiency in Microsoft Access a plus
* Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI a plus
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management; including cross functional colleagues in Finance, HR & Legal
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong sensitivity and decision making capabilities
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks
* Analytical skills to evaluate and interpret data
* Confident communication skills; both oral and written
* Ability to work independently with little guidance and operate effectively in a team environment
