  • Develop, refine and own the business development strategy for the Communications and Collaboration Business Unit, including:
  • BD Vision, and long term definition of success
  • Key priorities, including customized account plans and financial targets for all strategic partners
  • Articulated interdependencies between sales, marketing and product organizations to set up business development for enduring success
  • Identify the key requirements for enduring success of business development for the business unit (e.g., investment requirements, resources needed)
  • Ensure cross-functional teams are working together to identify, penetrate, and close large, complex enterprise software deals.
  • Build and drive joint strategy and business plans for Global Partners by segment and geography that includes compelling joint value propositions, clearly defined go-to-market strategies and progress tracking metrics.
  • Build the appropriate infrastructure, processes, training, and operational initiatives to support growth
  • Develop standards for partner delivery excellence and ensure customer delight
  • Partner with marketing to recommend and help produce content that supports overall alliance plans and objectives.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Management, or Economics, MBA a plus.
  • 8-10 plus years global alliances experience in Enterprise Software (including Cloud).
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership to drive business decisions.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and strategic partnerships with Systems Integrators, VAR's, distributors, OEM's and technology business partners
  • Experience working with globally dispersed teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus, resolve conflict, and drive resolution of complex business challenges.
  • Experience developing large global accounts through partners, selling a combination of products and services.
  • Diligent at measuring and communicating progress towards the plan, identifying roadblocks and coming up with appropriate resolutions.
  • Collaborative, self-directed leader with the ability to effectively build relationships, and display confidence in his or her intentions and those of the organization.
