Responsible for the delivery of analytics ted to new platform based loyalty products, some of which leverage existing Loyalty Solutions platforms
Use communication and relationship management skills to build working teams and create alliances and influence stakeholders. Works closely with Loyalty Customer Teams, Regional Product Management, and Implementation and Support teams on global and regional projects.
Lead and collaborate across multiple cross functional teams including business, sales, regional and technical staff
Act as a definitive subject matter expert for Rewards, with a focus on the intersection of merchant and issuer loyalty.
Establish the roadmap and vision for the delivery and management of BI & Analytics, data management, and reporting for our Rewards and Offers products
Act as a product owner for analytics strategy for our Rewards and Offers products
Lead strategic initiatives to expand the analytics offering tied to our current and future product set
Work with Rewards and Offers product managers to package analytics capabilities and develop commercial models to drive revenue
Partner with Rewards and Offers product managers to define KPIs and build models for scalable internal and external access
Responsible for business case creation, product and pricing strategy, product planning, product tracking and reporting product performance (KPIs)
Background working in a Big Data environment specifically using Apache Nifi, Sqoop, Spark, Hadoop, and Google Data Proc
Experience creating analytics products and packages through one or more data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, WebFocus)
Deep understanding of A/B testing and highly knowledgeable in key metric identification to drive and maintain business performance
Participate in planning, forecasting, and other financial management efforts.
Develop business cases for funding for significant platform enhancements.
Review and approve regional business cases for requests submitted.
Manage technical delivery within the budget assigned.
Extensive expertise in data modeling, both logical and physical.
Experience with regional and multidimensional query languages (SQL / MDX)
Experience with business driven / self-service BI
A solid understanding of data security and privacy technologies
A solid understanding of key BI trends.
A solid understanding of leading edge technologies and best practices such as Hadoop and Big Data
A solid understanding of the BI vendor landscape
Preferred - experience with data science, statistical analysis, data mining and predictive algorithms
Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred
Extensive experience (10+ years) in the analytics component of consumer loyalty programs
Solid working knowledge of the loyalty and payments industry and its eco-system, specifically experience in market / business intelligence
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross functional environment
A strong track record of delivering high-quality products on time and on budget
Ability to negotiate and solutions oriented to identify win win scenarios that satisfy cross functional needs with a mutually beneficial business outcome
You have strong presentation skills (both written and verbal) and you are able to manage and oversee multiple projects and initiatives concurrently
You are detail-oriented with an ability to understand and manage operational processes
