Interact with customers, dealers, employees, and our agency partners in a positive and proactive manner consistent with the mission and values of Spartan Motors. Develop, implement, and measure the success of creative marketing strategies that drive growth opportunities for the company and its segments. Direct the day-to-day efforts of the marketing services team and coordinate at both the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization. Lead, grow, and mentor a creative, forward thinking, highly dependable marketing team that delivers with speed and excellence. Develop a deep understanding of our business units and corresponding product verticals. Manage creation of highly-effective promotional and educational materials, exhibits, and digital marketing programs; Experiment and test new channels, tools, and techniques within the digital space. Create and manage website content. Direct the efforts of the marketing staff and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization. Lead and grow a creative, forward thinking marketing team. Coordinate the appearance, production, and dissemination of all print and electronic materials including PPT templates, letterhead, use of logo, brochures, journals etc. Create long-term strategies for content creators to maximize brand awareness and sales. Partner with department leaders and the Corporate Director of Marketing and Communications to develop demand generation initiatives, integrated marketing programs, conferences and events, and internal communication initiatives. Ensure articulation of Organization's desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the organization, and externally. Manage corporate communications and brand expansion. Manage social networking strategies on channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, etc.. Regularly coordinate/oversee relevant market research and lead other projects as assigned. Recommend and achieve short and long-term marketing goals and objectives. Collaborate with Segment Marketing Managers and the Corporate Director of Marketing and Communications to develop both project-based and long-term plans and budgets, monitor progress, assure adherence, and evaluate performance. Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies, vendors, and external partners to help execute initiatives on-time and within budget to ensure high quality and cost-efficient results. Work with colleagues to develop and maintain a strategic perspective based on marketplace and client needs and satisfaction. Track competitor strategies, product development efforts, and overall industry trends and develop strategies as appropriate. QUALIFICATIONS:. Google Analytics and AdWords certified. WordPress and Social Media platform experience. Project Management. 7+ years' experience leading, mentoring, and nurturing teams. Budget development and management experience in excess of $300k/yr.. Extensive working knowledge of Salesforce; direct implementation experience and Power Users preferred. Hands-on experience creating and/or building nurture tracks. Extensive working knowledge of marketing automation platforms. Vendor relationship management and contract negotiation experience. Events management experience. Graphic design and art direction experience preferred; ability to provide timely design feedback and art direct as needed, a must. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required. Extensive Digital Marketing and measurement experience. Experience redesigning websites for optimal usability and improved experience.
