Description and Responsibilities

Oracle is seeking an innovative product marketer! As a member of the Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud marketing team, you will be the lead story teller and advocate of Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud Solutions. You will deeply understand prospective customer personas and their problems. Identify opportunities our solutions can address and convey the benefits of the solutions in an impactful manner that will resonate with the respective target audience. As an advocate for Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud, you will help bring products to our customers, combining marketing research, segmentation, positioning, messaging, thought leadership, and marketing strategies to drive database cloud growth.

* An expert with 6 years of product marketing experience, ideally with cloud marketing or enterprise software that targets both enterprise and midsize companies
* An original thinker who is not afraid of new technology and who is obsessed about story telling to convey a persuasive story about the database solutions

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.

As a solutions marketing owner you will be responsible for all aspects of driving the solutions to market. You will be the leader to translate technology capabilities into impactful products benefits and business value. A senior story teller who can identify and effectively relate to the pain points of your audience, convey the story of your solutions to the targeted persona in multiple mediums, video, print, audio through a variety of channels, web, blog in-person events. Established experience of marketing to IT, Database administrators, C-level as well as LOB leaders in established customer base as well as green field.

Drive the planning and implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy such as authoring fiscal marketing plans, including communication, thought leadership, press, demand gen and awareness activities for the assigned solutions. Maintain and update marketing plan and communicate to extended regional marketing teams in US, EMEA, LAD, APAC. Master at the art of saying a lot in a few words. Ability to distill complex ideas into impactful substantive messages. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of solution objectives. Drive and author impactful marketing collaterals and assets for all solutions. Understand deeply the targeted persona and their care abouts. Lead product launches and releases to ensure delivery of needed assets from all cross-functional areas. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine. Demonstrated project/program management skills a must. Proven history of creating original marketing assets such as web, videos, written is key to this role. Demonstrated frictionless product/project management experience. Ability to work with Executives. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic. Team player. Results oriented. Focused on success but flexible to allow for humor and fun. Proficient to expert experience with Powerpoint. Office productivity tools such as MS Office. Knowledge of Oracle Database a plus. Basic HTML and web technology skills a plus. 8 years of enterprise marketing software experience and BA/BS/MBA degree.
