The Global Product Data Services is a team in the Payments organization under Customer Experiences and Technology. Its vision is to “P rovide Enterprise Product Data at lower cost and better quality” . To achieve this vision, we are looking for people with a passion and curiosity to solve customer problems with data. The internal stakeholders for the Program include but are not limited to PayPal Inc.’s Product Teams, Accounting and Finance, Sales, Risk, Customer Service, Treasury and Strategy Teams. Our External stakeholders include Regulators, Customers, Third Party Service Providers and Banks.

The position reports to the Director of Product Management in Global Product Data Services.


  • Own the Business Strategy with a 3-4-year long term plan along with 18-month execution plan

  • Scope includes Single Source of Truth for Operational data, Back End Payments Hub for Money Movement and Core Banking Account Management

  • Create business case for strategic investments and track key operational metrics

  • Lead and participate in strategic product development and strategy efforts

  • Develop ongoing processes, support and help prioritize areas of strategic investment

  • Run workshops with stakeholders to understand and document current state in the digital roadmap/journey and to identify gaps, capture actions, and manage to closure

  • For each strategic program, support stakeholders to understand the future state and how their work will need to change to support it

  • Tactfully collaborate cross-organizational work streams to identify inter / intra dependencies

  • Work with product teams to ensure execution of initiatives aligned to the large initiatives and to manageany barriers to target results

  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive reporting, forecasting and budgeting process and ongoing improvements

  • Create and prepare ad-hoc analysis as required to assist in the management of the roadmap

  • Drive development of marketing plans and requirements to support product development, digital transformation and other strategic programs. Gather and report Transformation Office dashboard metrics and other KPIs in monthly newsletters

  • Knowledge and Skills Requirements

    Manage Business Case, financial reporting and P&L Execution:

  • Prior experience building and managing business cases for strategic investments for the long and short terms

  • Advanced Excel spreadsheet functions and formulas to build and maintain models used for reporting and forecasting

  • General understanding of the key business and financial drivers that determine the organization’s success and strategy

  • Value Realization Accounting, reporting and financial data modeling

  • Good understanding of business strategy, product lifecycles, finance acumen around products

  • P&L Experience driving definition of execution priorities and strategic initiatives that require special attention and cross-functional collaboration across matrixed teams to deliver measurable outcomes and KPIs.

  • Ability to collaborate with product and technology stakeholders to understand strategic requirements and define a product roadmap.

    MBA from Tier 1 school desired
