Job Description:

At Regions, the Marketing Content Strategist manages content strategy, development, execution and optimization across multiple audience segments and delivery channels that attracts, engages, builds trust, preferences and loyalty for customers, associates, and prospects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages Marketing Programs to support Business Units and/or products across multiple channels
  • Develops channel strategies for Traditional Media, Digital/Social, Email, Mail, including one-to-one Personalization
  • Develops content strategies for targeting audience segments across multiple channels, including Television, Radio, Email, Mail, Digital, Social, Regions.com, Print, Out-of-home, In-branch Point of Sale, Product Collateral
  • Develops content and communications to support marketing programs for use in Television, Online Video, Terrestrial Radio, Digital Radio, Social Media, Digital media, Email, Mail, Print, Regions.com, Collateral, In-branch point-of-sale
  • Ensures content and communications align with content and channel strategies and are aimed at growing quality households, growing wallet share, and retaining customer relationships
  • Understands the audience segments and purchase funnel
  • Develops new content and optimize existing content at high-speed pace, including Dynamic creative management
  • Responsible for following Marketing Process to meet Legal, Compliance and internal audit standards.
  • Understands Canned Spam Act, UDAAP, and multiple regulations, and developing programs and content that align with these policies and regulations
  • Understands Marketing performance and analytics and adapt messaging and channels, based on performance metrics
  • Handles multi-million-dollar budget and invoice processing
  • Serves as partner to Marketing Strategists, Analytics and Campaign Operations
  • Works with Finance, Digital Banking, Legal and Compliance.
  • Serves as a vendor Management and Service Level Owner
  • This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.


  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
  • Five(5)years experience in Marketing
  • Preferences

  • Five(5) years in Digital
