The SEO Manager is a mid-level management position in the organization responsible for managing strategy, problem-solving and execution of technical and on-page SEO efforts. The SEO manager has a key role in communicating with clients, working efficiently with internal team members, and being a knowledge expert in the area of SEO- including Google algorithm updates and predicting trends.
Daily utilization of Basecamp for project management purposes Daily verbal and written client communication Scoping new projects and tasks to identify the necessary resources and timelines for completion Regular report development and presentation Manage team members while ultimately remaining accountable for client SEO results Train team members and clients on SEO strategies, processes, and result measurement Support sales team by providing SEO insight to support their presentation and sales process Client goal setting and success measurement Keep pace with SEO and digital marketing trends, including Google algorithm changes and predicting SEO trends
