Vroom is an exciting, dynamic workplace, and there's no better time to join the team than right now.We are in search of a performance-driven, Senior Manager, Email Marketing, to own end-to-end management of Vroom’s email program. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing a roadmap to capitalize on significant revenue and customer relationship potential.. This is a tremendous opportunity to build, optimize and own an infrastructure that will play an integral role in the company’s growth. Reporting to the VP, Marketing, this role will have cross-functional exposure within marketing, product, analytics and sales teams and will have regular interaction with C-level executives to report on progress and performance. The ideal candidate has impeccable technical and data analytics skills. They are at home strategizing marketing campaigns to meet aggressive business goals, building and deploying campaigns, A/B testing and analyzing performance. The Senior Manager will lead concept to execution, serving as the internal subject matter expert for email.
Responsibilities Own the end-to-end management of all emails - including roadmap development, content creation, campaign set up, QA, daily monitoring and reporting. Ensure flawless technical execution of email program through ongoing, detailed review and testing, ensuring maximum deliverability and mitigation of risk. Recommend and develop new email campaigns with a strong focus on generating revenue. Recommend and implement new technology to maximize performance of email channel. Develop and implement robust testing strategy for ongoing learning and performance optimization, including working with internal and external partners to develop content and assets as needed. Generate ongoing, detailed reporting to inform optimization, segmentation, customer contact strategy and revenue forecasting.
Qualifications 6 - 8 years of experience across all facets of email marketing, including campaign development, messaging, customer segmentation, deliverability and AB/multivariate testing. Experience managing ROI-driven email channel, ideally within an ecommerce and/or sales-team environment. Experience in and excitement for building an email discipline within an organization from the ground up. Experience in lead sourcing and scoring for optimal list growth and management. Experience with forecasting and attribution to predict revenue from the email channel, accounting for attrition, conversion and deliverability. Experience working in a start-up or agency environment is a plus. Detailed knowledge of email regulations and best practices. Experience in working with different ESPs. Experience with/working around Salesforce a plus. Basic knowledge of HTML. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and needs, while maintaining focus on broader strategic business objectives.
